It is critical for education professionals today to understand the importance of privacy and information management in the school setting. School boards, staff, and advisors have both legal and professional obligations to protect the personal information of students and staff.

From social media to cyberattacks to personal health information, privacy issues are at the centre of some of the most sensitive concerns facing schools and administrators.

Navigating this legal landscape can be intimidating and complex. With this unique one-day course, you will develop the skills and knowledge you need to confidently manage these circumstances, whether you a teacher, an administrator, an advisor, or another professional working in the education setting.

This is an elective course for the Certificate in Education Law. Due to administrative changes, all required and elective courses for the Certificate must be completed by August 31, 2024.
