OsgoodePD offers financial assistance on our CPD programs, including certificates. Our programs are also eligible for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant and a selection are eligible for OSAP microcredential funding.

Please Note

If you’ve applied for third-party funding, you cannot apply for OsgoodePD financial assistance unless and until your third party application is denied.

How to Apply

  1. Download and complete the form (available for download via the link below). This form requires information about your professional background, income range, and interest in the program.
  2. Prepare a copy of your resume.

Submit your completed application (form and resume) to financialaid-opd@osgoode.yorku.ca.

What to Expect After You Apply

An email confirmation will be sent to you once your complete application has been received.

You will receive notice of application results a minimum of 10 business days prior to the program. Application results may be provided earlier if the program has limited spaces available.

In order to obtain access to the course, full payment is required before the first module of a program.

OsgoodePD programs qualify for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides direct financial support to employers to help cover the cost of training for their employees. All OsgoodePD Professional Development programs and LLM Single Courses without assessment (audits) are eligible for Canada-Ontario Job Grant Funding.

Funding covers 2/3 of program costs, up to $10,000 per person

Employer guarantees 1/3 of the program costs

Employers apply on behalf of employees

Grant must be approved prior to the start of the program

All OsgoodePD In-Person, Online and On Demand courses are eligible

Ontario Student Assistance Program: OSAP for Micro-Credentials

The Canada Training Benefit

The Canada Training Benefit gives workers money to help pay for training, provide income support during training, and offer job protection so they can take the time they need to keep their skills relevant and in-demand. This non-taxable Canada Training Credit is to help Canadians with the cost of training fees. Eligible workers between the ages of 25 and 64 may qualify.
