Designed by and for legal and other professionals who advise on and support medical research, this unique course delivers the essential knowledge and skills you need to successfully navigate this highly regulated and fast-evolving field.
In one intensive day, you will gain a solid understanding of the legal landscape that underpins medical research in Canada and learn how relevant laws and regulations apply to research initiatives. Our outstanding faculty of experts will share practical strategies for navigating critical issues related to privacy, data sharing, intellectual property, liability, and other key topics in medical research. You will also participate in a hands-on contract drafting exercise and receive feedback from experienced legal and health research contract professionals.
