Drafting a will that can stand up to challenges is the cornerstone of a successful estates practice.

Over two half-days, this intensive, learn-by-doing program will provide a unique opportunity to hone your drafting skills while receiving individualized feedback.

Drafting a tightly worded will can help protect you from potential challenges, and is a skill that requires thoughtful consideration and practice. When a client comes into your office requesting a will, it is critical that you are prepared to competently draft based on varying, and sometimes, complex scenarios.

OsgoodePD’s Intensive Will Drafting Workshop will provide you with the tools and confidence you need to succeed.

This unique program includes sample fact scenarios, lectures and small group breakout sessions. Personalized feedback will provide you with ample opportunity to develop and refine your drafting skills.

You must be prepared to complete a pre-program introductory webinar and drafting assignment which will be reviewed by an experienced faculty member and discussed in small groups at the program. You will be asked to refer to your own templates and precedents, as well as learnings from the first half-day session, in order to complete the assignment.
