Over six intensive days, in our unique learn-by-doing format, you will have an opportunity to develop and refine your advocacy skills in a safe learning environment that will provide extensive opportunity for individualized feedback and practice.
The program culminates with the opportunity for you to apply your skills acting as counsel in a mock trial. The trials are presided over by judges (or experienced practitioners), who will provide you with feedback on your performance.

What You’ll Learn
Participate in learn-by-doing exercises of essential trial skills
Learn through individualized feedback based on live critique and video-captured review of performances
Get tips from a panel of judges on what works and what doesn’t
Lead a simulated trial in a safe environment
Participants should note that ITAW is an intensive program. Participants will be expected to complete substantial preparation before the program begins and throughout the program week, including preparation in the evenings.
Full attendance and active participation at all sessions is mandatory.

Eligibility for Registration:
This program is intended for lawyers in their first 2–5 years of practice who have limited trial experience. Individuals who do not meet the minimum practice experience or come from other professional backgrounds must contact the Registration Team before registering to discuss eligibility.
Please note that registrants who do not meet the eligibility requirements and have not contacted us in advance may have their registration cancelled.
Early Bird Discount: Register before December 1, 2026, to receive the early bird discount. After December 1, 2026, the regular price of the workshop is $5,200 + TAX.

Fellowships for the 47th Annual Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop
Fellowships are available to lawyers who could not otherwise attend ITAW due to financial constraints, and provide full tuition for the program.
