Engage with experts and peers on the most pressing current and emerging issues in mental health law for children and youth.

As a legal, healthcare, mental health, education or law enforcement professional, you are caught in the cross hairs and struggle to stay on top of your obligations and responsibilities.

Legal rights and responsibilities in mental health law are numerous and complex. When the issues relate to children and youth, they become increasingly challenging. Different approaches to the delivery of mental health services to children/youth persist, as do challenges around the most appropriate advocacy supports and approaches for assessing and managing risks of violence.

Developed based on your requests for a program that would bring together legal, health care, mental health, education and law enforcement professionals, this annual OsgoodePD program brings together these professionals for a comprehensive one-day update of essential, current and emerging issues, together with practical legal advice on how to deal with them.

You will walk away with knowledge, tools, strategies and tactics that will help you tackle these complex legal issues in your day-to-day working life.

Registration includes 120-day unlimited, online access to the recorded program.
