It’s HERE: The essential knowledge and practical strategies for navigating the Specific Claims process – from initial research and submission through to post-settlement implementation.
Do you have what you need to successfully navigate Specific Claims?
The Specific Claims process is a critical and complex avenue for the resolution of First Nations’ claims against the Crown for breaches of its lawful obligations. With evolving policy and case law, it is key that professionals working in this area are ahead of the curve.
Over two intensive days, our faculty of experienced practitioners and leaders will guide you through the lifecycle of a specific claim. Acquire practical knowledge and strategies for claim research and development, navigating the funding and financing landscape, negotiations with Canada, proceedings before the Specific Claims Tribunal, and critical post-resolution issues such as community engagement, ratification and settlement implementation.
Connect and learn in an engaging in personand online forum.

Unfortunately, no. Effective for all 2019 filings and subsequent years moving forward, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has replaced T2202A’s with the T2202. Under the new CRA definition and criteria, our CLE short courses and certificate programs do not meet the definition of ‘qualifying educational program’. For this reason, we are unable to issue you a T2202. For more information, please visit the CRA site.
