Bringing your adjudication mindset and skills to the next level means understanding and applying evolving best practices to confront the most complex adjudicative challenges.
Jointly offered by the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators and OsgooodePD, our advanced adjudication programs were designed to do just that.
Managing fair proceedings and making good impartial decisions can be harder than we realize, and sometimes it can feel like our brains, our instincts and our emotions may be getting in the way.
A bundle of advanced-level courses – taken all together or individually – draws on learning from other disciplines and gives you the opportunity to hear from experts in other fields about some of the “big ideas” that can help you to do this work better.
Join an expert faculty of experienced adjudicators, award-winning teachers, and experts in diverse fields to explore key elements of cognitive and behavioural science, consider how researchers have investigated its application to judges and adjudicators, and learn best practices.
This unique program will strengthen your credentials as an adjudicator, bring your adjudicative practice to the next level, and give you the opportunity to share new insights with your organization to build better institutional practices.
